The Digital X-ray 3D Center Novi Sad uses state-of-the-art equipment from renowned Finnish brands KaVo and Soredex, known for setting high technological standards in imaging equipment, operating protocols, and radiation protection – for both patients and staff.
Our equipment is completely new, regularly maintained, and certified by the Republic Agency for Protection from Ionizing Radiation. These devices significantly reduce imaging time, minimize X-ray scatter, and reduce the radiation field, ensuring the lowest possible radiation exposure for patients.
The imaging room is specially isolated to provide maximum protection. The walls are reinforced with barium-sulfate panels, and the doors contain lead sheets of appropriate thickness – all in compliance with strict regulations set by relevant radiation protection authorities.
Additional Patient Protection
We utilize:
- Protective aprons and thyroid shields, with a protective equivalence of 0.35 mm lead.
- Specialized pediatric imaging programs, which include shortened exposure times and further reduced radiation doses.
